The app includes numerous stories, nursery rhymes and games so that your kid doesn’t get bored of the same thing. The app also includes educational music videos which help them learn basic mathematics concepts via songs.
Some of the available content is The Gingerbread Man story, Jack and Jill rhyme, and much more such content. The app has all the stories and rhymes with audio playback support which means you can simply put them on audio mode and app will read out the content for your kids. Your kid can also tap on any word to know its pronunciation.
The best part of the app is that it’s completely free to download and use. There are no ads, no third party redirecting links, no in-app purchases, and no further downloading of resources, etc.. You can easily launch the app and handover to your kids without worrying about that they will jump over to some unwanted thing via the app.
Using this iPad Educational App for Kids with Stories, Rhymes, Games:
When you will launch the app, you will see the home screen of the app with 4 options: Stories, Games, Music Videos, and Rhymes. I will explain each of them one by one.
Stories:
This option includes 12 interesting and entertaining stories for your kids. Some of the stories are: The Gingerbread Man, Henny Penny, The Big Mitten, The Magic Porridge Pot, etc..
Tap on the book cover to open that book. On reading interface, the option at bottom right. The arrow keys are for jumping to previous and next page while the book icon is for turning the audio mode ON.
When the audio mode is ON, all the text are displayed as dull but the one which is being read by app is highlighted with Black color. This way, you can choose the story book and make your kids read the book or just make them sit and listen to it.
Games:
This option has various mathematics based games for kids to sharpen their mathematics skills. The app has different levels with 4 types of games: Rock Climb, Balloon Ride, Lets Build, and Frustration.
Each of these types has their own gameplay with their main focus on helping your kids learn to solve mathematics problems quickly. Each game has a specific set of questions which your kids need to answer.
On completion of any level, your kid will earn points and move to the next level.
Music Videos:
This is a simple section with only music videos explaining different basic concepts of Mathematics. Each of the video has animated character dancing, moving, playing instruments, and singing songs. All the songs are written such that they make it a fun way to understand the concepts.
You only have to tap on the cover image to play its musical video.
Rhymes:
This section includes 5 nursery rhymes for your kids to read, view, and listen. The app displays each of the rhyme in form of a comic book with animated characters. You can choose to read the rhymes manually, make app read it, and even sing it.
The included nursery rhymes are: Jack and Jill, Mary Had a Little Lamb, Pat-a-cake, Quack, Quack, Quack, and Hey, Diddle, Diddle.
