Free Micro Podcasting App with Snapchat Like Filters for Voice
Before you record your voice, you need to install the app named Wavechat. The app is totally free which you can easily find on the App Store.
After the app is installed, you can launch it. Now you will have to set-up your Wavechat account by providing your details.
The first step is to provide your phone number for account verification. Secondly, you can connect your Snapchat account with the Wavechat in order to use Snapchat’s Bitmojis. Or else, you can skip the step and go ahead without connecting your Snapchat to Wavechat.
While testing, I connected my Snapchat account with Wavechat. After that, you can create a username and enable/disable Bitmoji Avatar (that you use on Snapchat).
After you add your username, invite your friends. Next to this step, you will have to allow your contacts, microphone, speech, and notifications. Now you’re all done with the set-up.
How to use voice filters?
The app now lets you record your voice and send your voice messages to your friends. So, what you need to do is to tap on the recorder button and say something to record your voice.
Note: If your phone is playing another audio (music), the app does not allow you to use the recorder.
You can record your voice for 60 seconds. Once the voice the recorded you will see the voice filters above. There are filters like Speed, Super Speed, Drunk, Vader, Helium, Evil, and more. You can just slide the filters to apply to your voice.
Now to add some more spark on your story, you can decorate the background with different colors and stickers. If your phone screen, the background color changes.
On top, there are other options to make your background interesting. Use Text, Snapchat Emojis, Bitmojis, Stickers, draw on the screen with different colors, add photos to the story from your phone gallery or click the new one.
When your story is ready, you can tap on the Send button to share this in your story. The app also lets you save it on your phone so that you can share it on other social profiles.
