In this post, you will get to know about one of the coolest features ever added to Snapchat, Dual Camera. This came in the wake of another app that is on the rise called BeReal. This app had dual camera setup which allows users to record using front and back camera at the same time. And now, you can do the same thing in Snapchat.
Now, choose the dual camera in Snapchat and record or take pictures. This feature can be handy while making vlogs and for directors. It can also be used to record presentations or illustration videos. Right now, there are 4 layouts in the dual camera mode and you can just select the one based on requirements.
If you have any flagship Nokia phone, then you will find the dual camera mode in it. Basically, it splits the screen in half; the upper half uses the front camera, while the lower half uses the back camera. In Snapchat dual camera, it has this feature and there are 3 more layouts. In one layout, it uses the back camera as background for the pictures taken from the front camera.
How to use BeReal like Dual camera in Snapchat for photos, videos?
For now, this feature is available in iOS only. If you have an iPhone XS or XR or later, then you can now use this feature. Just update the Snapchat app to the latest version and then open it up. On the camera screen, you will see a dual camera icon. If you don’t see this option, then try restarting the iPhone.
Tap on the dual camera icon and then it will show you layout options. You can select the layout you want to use and then it will open the cameras accordingly.

Similarly, you can switch to other layout and take photos and videos. I hope that they add more layouts in the coming updates.
In this way, you can use this new dual camera feature of Snapchat. It is so easy to use and you just need to activate it, select a layout, and then take photos or videos. However, if you are an Android user then you will not have this option. It will take time for this feature to arrive for Android.
