Bell Word is a free text editor that is used to open files, edit text files, rich text files, and allows you to insert templates and images in your document. It support most of the image formats, like jpg, png, gif, animated gif, bmp, tiff, tif etc. It provides a beautiful interface in which you can change foreground and background color of text.
There are multiple font styles and other basic options (such as bold, italic, underline, strike through etc.) are available, like most of the similar free text editor software. It is completely free to use software and comes with Bell Office, which is a product of Bell software.
See the main interface of Bell Word visible in above screenshot where you will find multiple tabs. At the bottom part on its interface, you can also see count of total number of words, letters, lines etc. in document. So you don’t have to use a separate software to count words and characters.
How to Use this Free Text Editor:
On its interface, file menu like usual is used to open text or word files, and to save files. Main menu will help you to align text (left, right, or center), add bullets etc. Next to main menu, you will find Text Style menu. This is one of important menu here. You can select font style, font size, and can change foreground and background color, just like it is visible in below screenshot:
Apart from these menu, an Insert menu is also present. This will help you to add an image or to select a template to work on it, like it is visible in first screenshot. But here one shortcoming is that only one image is possible to add. Also during testing, most of the time it failed to insert image. But template option is quite good and useful. You can quickly select a preset template (article, visiting card, letter, virtual album) to work upon it.

As mentioned earlier, Bell Word comes with Bell Office. So you need to download Bell Office. Its download link is available at the end. During the installation process, you will be provided other components of Bell Office, like Bell Photo Viewer, Bell Reminder, Bell Bookmarks etc. You can install other components or can skip their installation.
Conclusion:
If you need a simple text editor with clean interface and some useful features, then Bell Word can be a good choice for you. But some improvements are needed, such as ability to add more than one image to documents.
