Once you’ve opened one of the screens of your prototype under your InVision account, you can use extension pop-up to preview the active design, and download it to PC as JPG or PNG image with hi-resolution. So, instead of sharing the entire prototype or all designs, you can simply download the design that you want to send to your client or share with others.
Those who use InVision regularly and create prototypes of their designs time to time, they know that they need to open their prototype screen to view and share the designs available in it. Or else, you need to download the entire prototype and then share the designs. How to Download InVision Prototype Design as Images using This Free Chrome Extension?
Step 1: Download this extension using the link given at the end of this article. Once the extension is installed, you need to login with your Google account to use it.
Step 2: Now login to your InVision account, access your Projects section, and go to Prototypes section. Click on a prototype. This extension doesn’t work on any other webpages. It will work only when you have accessed your prototype and designs. After that, proceed to the next step.
Step 3: Under your Prototype, there will be multiple screens. Select a screen. When the screen is opened and design is visible, click the extension icon. It will open a pop-up. In that pop-up, you will be able to:
- Preview the design.
- Download the design to PC using the available button, and
- Open design as image in a new tab.
Use the available option and then you can save the design as an image to your PC.
There are no other options or settings.
