Working:
1. Click on this link to navigate to Vidyard Prospector and sign up for a free account using your Google, Microsoft or LinkedIn accounts.
2. At the outset you must authenticate your GMail account to allows Vidyard Prospector to send emails on your behalf. Presently Prospector supports only GMail for sending of emails.
3. The next step will be to configure your Territory which is the place where you must specify the Filters for searching the leads. For this, click on the button ‘Set my Territory’.
4. The available Filters are Location, Industry, Company size, Position, Role and Sub-Role. You must click on the respective ‘Add’ button to apply the filter. A minimum of one filter is required to generate the leads.
5. You can go ahead and apply multiple filters if required such as choosing multiple Locations, Industries and more. Once you are through with this, verify all your choices and click on the ‘Generate Leads’ button at the bottom right of the page.
6. Now, wait for some time while Prospector searches and displays the Lead results based on the filters that you have applied.
7. Vidyard Prospector will now automatically compose and send tailored outreach emails to all the discovered leads at 9:00 AM on the same day. To change the schedule and modify the email preferences, click on the ‘Change’ link at the top right.
8. This will take you to the ‘Email Preferences’ section where you can define when you want the emails to be automatically sent out as well as the time zone. You can also stop all emails from being sent by removing certain selected days as per your requirements.
9. In addition to this you can insert a BCC email that helps you to track your outbound email activity. You can input an optional message at the end of the emails to let the prospective leads know how they can unsubscribe. Additionally, you can use the ‘Vacation mode’ toggle button and specify the start / end date during which emails will be paused.
10. Vidyard Prospector offers 2 automatic follow-ups that are dispatched after 3 days of the first email and 4 days of the second depending on your email preferences. The follow-up emails do not count towards your account limit.
11. To remove any Leads from the list or defer their email sending to the next day, select them using the checkbox and then click on the corresponding button at the top right.
12. Sent emails (to the Leads) are accessible through the ‘Sent’ tab while Follow-up emails and those that you have bumped to the next day will appear in the ‘Later’ tab.
