Flashcards is Free Flashcard app for Google Chrome in which you can view and get flashcards for free. In Flashcard app you can view flashcards on different topics which are listed in the app. What I really like is that you can get new set of flashcards for free in the Flashcard App. The app lets you download Flashcards from many websites and view them. Creating the flashcards did not work for me. However, I was able to download various Flashcards. See below to get an idea of how the flashcard app works in chrome.
User Interface Of Free Flashcard App:
The user interface is interactive and interesting. It is easy to navigate to the topic for flashcards from the list. The buttons are neatly placed and you can select the option for Study or Download. See below, the image for the user interface.
The two main options of the flashcard app I tested are study and download. Below is the description of each of them.
Study – In this section you can study your topic using flashcards. You can select different flashcards from the list which is provided on the left of the screen.
Download – In this section you can get the flashcards for the topic you want to learn. There are lots of topics that are covered for the flashcards. Also, there is no registration required to get the new set of flashcards for yourself.
How To Get Flashcards:
To get more flashcards you have to click on the Download button and you will have the interface as shown below.
Here you can browse, search and save the flashcards in this section. Quizlet, Study Stack are some of the websites that provide the flashcards. You can also browse to flashcards that other users have uploaded. The searched flashcards will be displayed on the right side of the image. To install a particular flashcard set you have to click on the flashcard set from the searched result and then select install set, which is on bottom right of the screen.
How To View Flashcards:
To view the flashcards, simply launch the free flashcard app and select Study. On the left part of the screen you will have the list of the topics for the flashcards. You can browse the list of flashcard sets and select the topic for which you want to view flashcards. Then, you have to click the small arrow button for the flashcard options, after which you will have the following options as shown below.
Below is the small description of the options for the flashcards:
- Open the card set – It opens the flashcard set. Alternatively, you can simply click on the flashcard name to open the flashcard set.
- Rename the set – You can rename the flashcard set here.
- Delete the entire set – You can delete the entire set here, if you want to get the set back then you have to browse for the set in the download section.

You can also try out Flashcard Master for free. Flashcard master is free flashcard creator which you can use to make flashcards. You can design, edit and print flashcards of their own choice.
Conclusion:
The free flashcard app is great for learning and improving the memory. The help section is also in a form of flashcards so it makes it really easy to understand. Though lower half of the screen will always display ads which I did not like. Overall based on the nice features and wide range of topics you should try it out.
