Doodle Buddy is a free iPhone drawing app. This was probably one of the first apps I downloaded when I got my iPhone. I remember feeling like a kid using this app, drawing random shapes and sharing them with my friends on Facebook. Using this app on iPad is even more fun as you get a bigger area to draw. The best part is that you can even collaborate with your friend on your drawing. Just send them a request to join in on the fun and that is it.
The app provides you various backgrounds you can use for your drawings. These backgrounds can be the ones provided by the app or they can be chosen from your photo gallery or you can click a photo using your camera and turn it into a background. For drawing you get brush or chalk with various color options. Along with this you get various shapes, stencils, stamps, text boxes which can be added to the drawing. The stamps provided by the app are basically small images which come with sound effects attached to them.

As it is a free app, so you will see ads at the bottom of the app. Lets look at the bottom bar of this app as shown in the screenshot below.
The first icon of a curved arrow is for undoing the previous draw move that you made. The second icon with a chalk is for choosing between brush or chalk and selecting a color. You also get the option to choose smudge effect or eraser from this icon. The third stamp icon provides you stamps with sound effects, stencils and text box that can be inserted in your drawing. The fourth icon which looks like a photo frame gives you background option for your photos.
The fifth icon is for settings, as can be seen in the above screenshot the first option you will see is to clear the canvas. You can also clear the screen by shaking your phone. Apart from this you get sharing options like mail the drawing to a friend or even publish it to Facebook. You also get the option to save the drawing to your photo gallery.
