Convertify is now providing a free plugin Figma to convert designs to XD or Sketch. Here this is a free plugin that you can use to export your current designs in .xd or .sketch formats. In just a couple of clicks, you can export your design and then open that in Sketch viewer software of your choice. The plugin gets integrated on the web UI of Figma and selects all the layers automatically to export them. However, the Adobe XD export feature is in beta stage and may not work as expected.
Convertify is a popular online file converter that you can use. It lets you convert a lot of files one format to another. And now you can use it in Figma directly to convert your designs instantly. This is a simple and straightforward plugin and doesn’t require any sign up or login. You just need a Figma account with some designs in it to use it on. Right now it only has XD and Sketch as supported formats but I hope in future updates they add more options.
Convert Figma Designs to Sketch and XD Free: Convertify
Using Convertify as a Figma user is actually very easy. Make sure that you are logged in your Figma account and then install Convertify plugin from here. After the plugin has been installed successfully, you can invoke it. Just open a design and then invoke the plugin from the hamburger icon >Plugins menu. As you can see in the following screenshot.
It will take a few seconds to process all the layers of the currently opened design. After it is done processing, it will ask you what format you want to export the current design in. Just specify the target format you want and then proceed further.
It will convert your design to the target format and may take a few seconds. When it is done, you can download the file that has been converted. You can repeat the process whenever you want to convert any of your Figma design to XD or Sketch format.
In this way, you can use this simple and useful Convertify plugin to convert any Figma design to XD or Sketch. You only have to install it and then use a few clicks to get things done. This is as simple as that and do note that XD export in beta so for complex designs it may break.
