Lovely Photo Frame is a free Android app that allows you to edit your images with a lot of ease. The app already has built in effects (quite like the Photofunia app), and all you have to do is to put in your image, and it will cleverly insert your image into a pre designed frame. You can also flaunt yourself as being the poster image of New York’s Times Square!! Trust me when I say that this app is incredibly fun to be used.
Lovely Photo Frame has over 300+ frames and designs to offer (according to the app’s developer) to edit your image. Well I didn’t count the number of effects, but yeah, it has a ton of effects, and trust me when I say that you are NOT going to run out of image editing effects! The app is very lightweight, but the only drawback is that it requires an active internet connection to edit your images and has ads. Apart from that, it is absolutely amazing.

Using the Lovely Photo Frame app on your Android device…
When you launch the Lovely Photo Frame app on your Android device, you will be presented with an interface which looks like the below screenshot.
In the above screenshot, you will be able to see a list of photo frames (oh and don’t worry about the 3 viruses detected popup, you don’t have any viruses, that’s just an advertisement). Let us quickly go ahead and add effect to see how that works out for our image.
As you can see in the above screenshot, my effect required me to choose two images. Simply click on Choose file and select the image(s) from your gallery, click on Go and you will be presented with an edited image!
Okay, okay. Those two are pathetic photos of me! But hey, the effect looks great doesn’t it?

The verdict…
Lovely Photo Frame is a great app to have on your Android device if you are looking forward to doing some casual image editing, but want your images to looks stunning after the editing is complete. The app works great on a sea of Android devices, and the effects offered by the app are amazing. With over 300 effects, we’ve got nothing really to complain about, but yeah, if the ads were removed, the app would be much better.
I give this app a 3.5 out of 5.
