Atchoo is a free software that provides desktop reminders for Google Calendar. Atchoo connects with your Google Calendar to read entries, and then alerts you when some event is approaching. This is a nice way to keep track of Google Calendar on your desktop, without a need to keep checking Google Calendar.
Atchoo installs easily as a desktop application. After that you can provide it details of your Google Calendar that it will connect to keep track of events. When some event approaches, it will give an alert on your desktop.
Atchoo also lets you snooze or dismiss an alert. While snoozing, you can just type in text for how long you want it to be snoozed. For example, you can type 1 hour 5 minutes. Atchoo understands normal English expressions, and will remind you of that event again after that time.
We have already covered how to integrate Google Calendar with Twitter.
Atchoo is completely free for personal as well as commercial use. This is one of the easiest to use Google Calendar Reminder that we have come across. Some other reminder tools that we reviewed earlier include Postica, Effective Notes Reminder, and ABAlarm.
