chat.cc is a web based free chat client to start private chat conversation with anyone. Unique feature of this chat client is that it automatically lets you preview links shared by users within the chat room. For example, it lets you view a photo for a particular image link right in the chat room. Apart from this, you will also be able to send YouTube links and can stream any video link right from the chat room. You can also insert any kind of other link and preview the link item within the chat room. All of these features make it an interesting web based chat client.
You don’t have to register yourself with this free chat client. To use this chat client, you need to send an email to recipients including [email protected] in Cc of your email. After this, a link for your private chat room (or conversation) is sent to you to start private chat.
In the above screenshot, you can see a private chat conversation started by me using this free chat client. On the left side, you will be able to start chat with users. And on the right side, you will be able to preview any selected link.

How To Use This Free Chat Client To Start Private Chat Conversation?
Follow these steps to generate your private chat conversation link using this free chat client:
Step 1: Open your mail account and compose a new mail.
Step 2: Enter email addresses of recipients. And in Cc of your email, enter [email protected].
After this, enter any subject of your choice. Subject will become the title of your chat conversation, which can be edited later on as well.
Step 3: Send your email. Shortly, you and recipients will receive an email from chat.cc. That mail will contain the link of your chat room. You simply need to tap on Join button.
Step 4: After joining the chat room, you will be able to start the conversation with other people who have joined the chat room.
Now all you need to do is send messages, any Twitter link, or whatever you like. For each link, it provides preview facility, like visible in the screenshot above. Thus, you can preview the linked item just by clicking on any link.
Important Features:
There are some other interesting features that you will find in this free chat client:
- You can invite as many people as you want. Just place your mouse to the title of your Chat room and use + button to invite more people.
- You can create multiple chat conversations.
- For an article link, it automatically fetches image, and a quick summary of that article.
- All your chat conversations can be accessed by you whenever needed. However, I didn’t find any option to remove a particular chat conversion.

chat.cc is a really very interesting chat client. I was quite impressed with the feature to preview links within the chat room. Apart from this, you only need to use your email account to generate a chat conversion, link which is quite simple.
