Sometimes, you might wonder how to check the older tweets or posts without scrolling through all the posts on your Twitter account. Here comes a solution for this in the form of an online application “The Twayback Machine”. The Twayback Machine is a free online application to view old tweets or posts of any Twitter user. All you have to do is enter a Twitter username in the application and the application will show all the top tweets, photos, videos, etc. The only catch is that you must be following the user for whom you want to view the tweets or you can simply check out your own old tweets.
Similar to other online applications such as TwitEraser, Twiterio, and many more, “The Twayback Machine” also allows you to to find old tweets without browsing all the posts in an account. The best part of this online application is that you can define the time interval until for you want to view the tweets.
The following screenshot shows the old tweets of an account.
Note: You may be aware that up to 3200 maximum tweets are stored in the timeline of a Twitter account. That means you can view up to 3200 old tweets of a user.
How to View Old Tweets of Any Twitter User:
Step 1: Go to the homepage of this online application and start finding older tweets, as no registration is required.
Step 2: Enter the Twitter username on the blank bar and click the option “Go Way Back”, that’s all. The following screenshot shows how to find older tweets of a Twitter user.
Step 3: After that you will be able to see old tweets with default time interval of “31-12-2011”. If you want to change the time interval, then modify the time at the top search bar. The following screenshot shows how to modify time interval.
Step 4: You can view old posts of photos, videos, top tweets, and news with different filters like from everyone, from people you follow, near you, and from everywhere. It also allows you to save the search and also embed the search. The following screenshot shows how to filter tweets.
Step 5: After finding older tweets, you can like retweet, etc as normally you do with recent posts.
My Final Verdict:
The Twayback Machine is quite an interesting online application to view old tweets of any Twitter user. No registration required which means you can simply enter the username to find older tweets. Personally, I like this website as it allows us to modify the time interval until which we want to view the posts.
