Kaboom is a free iPhone app to share self-destructing messages with the world. You can share text messages, photos, or both with an expiry time via Email, iMessages, Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, and even by a direct link. This app is quite fun to use as it lets you set the expiry time of the messages manually. You might have used many iPhone apps or Android apps to send self-destructing messages, but “Kaboom” is very simple to use and doesn’t require any registration. All you have to do is type a text message or attach a photo to share with your friends.
When anyone tries to see what messages you have shared using this app, they will be redirected to Kaboom’s website, where they can view the message content as well as the expiry time. After the message expiry time is up, no one will be able to see your shared message content and they will be self-destructed. You can set the expiry time for minutes, hours, days, and also by the number of views.

How to create self-destructing messages:
As we have already discussed that you can send a self-destructing message which can contain either text, a photo, or both. Import photos from your camera roll or capture a new photo to share. There will also be a message bar in which you can type your text message along with a photo. The following screenshot shows how to share messages with text and photos.
How to set message expiry time:
All the messages you share via this app will self-destruct after the expiry time is up. It allows you to set the expiry time by the number of views (means how many people can view the message before it expires), and also for minutes, hours, and days. For all these entities, the range will be from 1 to 1000. Simply tap the “Message Expires In” option to set self-destruct time. The following screenshot shows how to set expiry time.
How to share self-destructing messages:
The app generates a unique link of the message and lets you share via Text message, Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, etc. Simply select a platform to share your message from the option “Choose How To Share”. That’s all, now your message will be shared with a self-destruction time that you have set. The following screenshot shows how to share messages.

Kaboom is quite an interesting app for iPhone to share self-destructing messages with your friends. Share messages on social networks and have them self-destruct by setting expiry time. You can set expiry time by the number of views, minutes, hours, and days. Simply use this app to get full control of what you share and how long it stays on the web.
