Unfortunately, the Gmail team got rid of the “Hide Unread Counts” Labs feature earlier this year, as they mention at the tail end of this blog post from May 1: http:gmailblog.blogspot.com201205say-hello-or-ola-or-halo-or-salam-to.html I just wrote in to the “Suggest a Labs feature” Google group asking for them to bring it back, so go make some noise at: https:groups.google.comforum?fromgroups=#!topicgmail-labs-suggest-a-labs-featureYQDp3IT1uHw Think of the children!
