TweetCaster for Twitter is a free iPad Twitter client app to access and manage your Twitter accounts efficiently. The app lets you add multiple Twitter accounts and even add Facebook account for posting your tweets to Facebook timeline instantly. The app also has support for Buffer to schedule tweets and FavStar.
The other cool features of the app includes Search Party (search option with advanced filters), Zip It (mute tweets by specifying custom filter criteria), add filters to photo before uploading, preview shared links within the app, check what’s trending on Twitter on the basis of location, and many more.
Using this iPad Twitter Client App TweetCaster for Twitter:
Since it’s a Twitter client app so to use it you have to link your Twitter account with the app. When you have linked your Twitter account, you will see the Twitter timeline of your account. While all the other options are on the left sidebar for checking your Mentions, Messages, Favorites, Tweets, Lists, Retweets, and Bookmarks.
On your timeline, you will see all the tweets in order of most recent being at top. Tapping on any tweet will show you the options related to that tweet: Reply, Retweet, Favorite, Direct Message, Share, Zip It, Copy, View Replies, Who Retweeted This, and View in Favstar.
All these options are self-explanatory except for Zip It. This is an exclusive feature of TweetCaster which lets you mute tweets by specifying custom intense criteria. You can mute tweets by specifying twitter handle, hashtags, and any other keyword. When you have set the criteria, then you can choose to mute tweets for 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, or Forever.
On muting any tweet, you will see them in your timeline with a zip which you can see in the screenshot below. If you want to unmute it, then simply tap on the zip and remove the filters added by you.
The another cool and exclusive feature of TweetCaster is Search Party. This is basically a search feature which lets you search for anything on Twitter, but it comes with a lot of advanced search filters. As you will type the search query, you will get the option to search for that query in Tweets, People, Nearby, Timeline, Mentions, Messages, Favorites, etc..
You can also choose from the options on the left side bar: Trends, Who to Follow, Nearby, Top Tweets, and Bookmarks.
Apart from all this, the app has an 4 square icon at top left corner. Tapping on it will take you to the interface from where you can see the complete overview of what’s happening on Twitter. You can check your recent searches, trends, nearby tweets, and who to follow.
The app also lets you add filters to your photos before posting any tweet. You can choose from lots of stickers, frames, filters, orientation, crop, adjust, and other photo editing features.
