Noted is a collection of free Figma templates to add notes in designs. The process of prototyping and designing is genera multi-step process where you might need to take notes to keep everything aligned. Figma does not have any dedicated feature to take notes so you either have to create notes on the artboard or in some other app.
Creating notes on the Figma design artboard is handy as you won’t have to leave the editor to do so. After you are done with the notes, you can either remove them or left there for the teammates and developers. This collection of templates makes the note-taking a little easier in Figma. You can just pick a template as per your needs and create beautiful notes. You can also publish the template components in your Figma team’s library and share them with your teammates as well.

Free Figma Templates to Add Notes in Designs
Noted templates are available on the Figma community. You can get them by following this link. You can duplicate the templates from the community to your library. This template collection has three-layer pages:
- Templates: Shows you a preview of different types of noted and todos you can create.
- Components: Gives you an introduction to the components for creating your own notes.
- Cover: This just contains a cover image for Noted.
From the top, you can switch to the Assets where you find the actual components that you can use to create your own notes. You can simply drag and drop the comment, resize, and add as many notes entries as you like.
Publish in Team’s Library
If you are working along with a team on Figma you can share these templates with your teams as well. Simply open the Libraries from the Assets and select your team. After that hit the publish button to publish the components in your teams’ library.
Once you publish the components to your team’s library, everyone on the team can access the components. Then instead of creating simple white notes, they can use these components to give their notes an attractive look.
