ROX Player doesn’t provide many options. However, menu options available at the top will help to open and play media files, download & install plugin etc.
Use File menu to open and play your local media files using Open file option. Or else, you can drag n drop multiple audio video files to its interface. However, you cannot create or save playlists with this player which is its shortcoming. But all added media files will be added to a default Play List option which you can access with View menu.
Apart from playing local media files, you can provide online audio/video files URL to play with ROX Player. But during testing, I was able to play only online audio files. I am not sure whether it was a problem with the videos’ URL or with the ROX Player. So you give playing online videos a try and let us know if it works for you.
ROX Player works quite fine to play torrent files and I find no trouble playing torrents with it. Simply use Open .torrent option available in file menu to play torrent videos. For example, if you have torrent file on PC, then open it using .torrent file option and it will start buffering that video and download that torrent video’s first part for you as well as play that video on its interface.
Thus, you don’t need any Torrent Video Player to stream torrent videos.
