Mann-E (read as Mani) is an advanced AI-based art generator developed by Muhammadreza Haghiri as a part of the Open Cognitives project. The model is based on Stable Diffusion 1.5 and lots of artistic data that has been collected from the Internet especially Pinterest. Mann-E is a great tool to help people to transform the ideas in their minds to amazing artistic material in just a couple of seconds.
Mann-E is freely available through Google Colab notebooks as well as a page on Hugging Face which is an AI community that encourages open-source contributions from developers. The links for both are available at the end of this article. As the Mann-E model is based on Stable Diffusion, it is hugely supported by several Stable Diffusion libraries that exist out there.
How it Works:
1. Click on this link to navigate to the Hugging Face page of Mann-E.
2. Type or paste your text prompt to describe your idea in the ‘Text to Image’ box and click on ‘Compute’. You must ensure that the prompt as descriptive as possible so that you can achieve the best possible results.
3. Wait for some time while Mann-E processes your text prompt and generates the image which is displayed on the screen.
4. You can click on the ‘Maximize’ link to view the image in full size. To download the image to your system, right click on the image and choose ‘Save image as’.

Mann-E is a fine AI-based art generator based on Stable Diffusion 1.5 and available on Hugging Face and Google Colabs. Overall, the quality of the images generated by Mann-E is very good although the model takes considerable time in image generation. It is a great open-source alternative to Dall-E, Midjourney and Stable Diffusion.
