Mobile-Friendly Checker is a free Google Chrome extension which lets you check Google Mobile-Friendly score of any website without doing anything extra. You simply need to click on the extension icon to see the Google Mobile-friendly score as well as other details.
The extension also lets you check the preview of the website to give you an idea of how does the website look in a phone. Another good feature of the extension is that you can check the Google Mobile-friendly score of up to 20 websites simultaneously.
Using this Chrome Extension to Check Google Mobile-friendly Score:
Install the Mobile-Friendly Checker Chrome extension either from the Chrome Web Store or using the link given at the end of this article.
Now to use the extension, you simply need to open the website whose mobile friendliness score you want to check. When that website will be loaded completely, you will see a number on the extension’s icon. This number signifies the Google Mobile-friendly score of the website opened by you.
Clicking on the icon will show you the detailed information. The information includes details about Viewport Configuration, Font Legibility, Use of Incompatible Plugins, Content to Viewport, and Size & Proximity of Links.
In the screenshot, you can see that there are two more tabs: Googlebot Preview and Bulk Check.
- Googlebot Preview: This option shows you the preview of the website in the phone. However, you can’t interact with the preview.
- Bulk Check: This option lets you check scores for up to 25 websites in one go. You simply have to enter the URLs of the websites. The results will be shown to you in a new tab.
