Snappy Driver Installer is a free driver updater software to automatically install missing and outdated drivers. It lets you first save a Indexes file and then uses that file to check missing and outdated drivers. It tries to find the best matching drivers for your PC, which makes it a good driver updater software. The software also lets you download all types of drivers for which it has as a backup, but the size is in GBs. So it’s your choice if you want to download only the required drivers or all the drivers. Using This Free Driver Updater Software:
This is a portable software. You can download its zip file using this link. Open its interface and it will show the total number of available updates. These are not for your PC devices actually. These are the total updates. You can either download all the drivers or only for your PC.
To install missing or outdated drivers for your PC, first click on “Updates are available” option, as visible in the screenshot above.
After this, a new window will open where you will see the total number of drivers that you can download. Now click on “Check only needed for this PC“. It will select ‘Indexes‘ file from the list and download it to your PC. Once it is done, it will automatically scan the outdated and missing drivers. If any found, it will create the list and also provide the best suited drivers to download. You can also hover the mouse cursor over a driver to view some information like Hardware ID, Compatibility ID, Installed Driver, Available Driver, etc.
You can read the information for any particular driver. Select the drivers of your choice and click Install button available at the left side.
It will download the zip file of all the drivers and then install them automatically.
There are a couple of options also available at the left side that you can use. You first need to enable Expert Mode and then all those options will visible. Options like display new drivers, not installed drivers, better match drivers, etc.
Select the options you want and simply keep Expert mode disabled.

This is true that interface of this software is not as good as many other software have like Driver Booster. However, it is also a fact that this free driver updater software can be an all in one solution for you when you need to fix outdated and missing drivers problem.
