PsykoPaint Windows 8 app is fun little free Windows 8 app that lets you convert photographs that you have taken into amazing paintings. The effects are so amazing that it makes the dullest images look like amazing work of art.
Using this free application you can create cool looking paintings from regular photos for free. If you don’t have Windows 8, you can check out online version of PsykoPaint.
PsykoPaint Windows 8 app also offers you the ability to adjust each affect so that you can change an image according to your needs. The interface of this application is extremely simple and elegant.
PsykoPaint Windows 8 allows you to change an image which is already taken or you can capture new images using the devices in-built camera.
How to use PsykoPaint Windows 8 app:
When you open up an image, the app will start processing and create a sort of outline of the image which will look like a sketch of the original image. To get things going, first change the background according to your need by sliding the background slider. In this manner you can decide what you want the starting point of your painting to look like.
After that, choose the tools from the below and start doing random stuff. I really loved the application; all I did was put some random strokes and it resulted in the amazing image as shown above in the first screen shot.
Another drawing app for Windows 8 we covered earlier is Sketchbook Express.
The tools have some effects and an eraser. The effects include spat, bristles, spray can, scribble , flowers, pointlist, lines, and sumi-o. Each one of them have been aptly described in the toolbar itself. Each of the tools size and precision can be changed according to ones need, just by sliding the sliders that are located in the lower right side on the screen. If you have done something wrong or you do not like some thing you can undo and redo the buttons conveniently located on the lower left side of the app window as shown in the screen shot below. To bring this up just right like any where in the window. Want to start over again: just like on the clear button.
Now that you are done with your master piece you can save it to your local hard drive. One thing that I did not like is that the output can only be saved in the .PNG format. After you have saved your amazing painting share them over Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr etc and amaze your friends and family.
