Slam Note Book is a free app for Windows 8 and 8.1 which allows you to store the details of your friends on your device. When you launch the app, you can create various categories wherein you can store the details of your friends by simply clicking on the tile of the category and then adding a new friend via the control bars. The control bars of the app allow you to add a friend with just a single click, and the next screen which is displayed to you will allow you to add the details of your friend just like a regular slam book!

Main features of Slam Note Book for Windows 8 and 8.1…
When you install and run the Slam Note Book app on your Windows 8 or 8.1 device, you will be presented with an interface wherein you will be able to add various categories. In the below screenshot, you can see the category friends along with the control bars of the app open.
The app supports twin control bars which can be accessed easily by right clicking on the screen. When you right click on the screen, the control bar at the top of the screen allows you to search for friends and the control bar at the bottom allows you to add a new category, edit an existing category or delete a category. Once you click on the tile of a particular category, you will be presented with an interface, where you can add a friend by clicking on the Add Friend button on your screen. When you click on that, you will be presented with the below screenshot. Here, you will be able to see that my friend has already filled in a few details about him, like his First name, gender, etc. You can also add a photo of your friend by clicking on the Select an Image button, but you can also let that pass, as it’s not really required.
Once you click on the Save button after filling in the details, you will be presented with the tile of your friend’s name added in the group. You can see this in the below screenshot.
Similarly, you can add multiple friends in the group by right clicking on the screen and selecting the Add Friend button from the control bar. Slam Note Book is a pretty well designed app for Windows 8 and 8.1 which allows you to easily add information of your friends inside the app. The app makes for a great way to remember your friends as the data that your friends type in the app is stored in it permanently, making for some really great memories later on in life.
