DriverBackup is a free software to backup and restore drivers of your Windows system. The backup would come real handy in case you have to reinstall Windows.
DriverBackup has 3 modes:
Backup Drivers: This mode lets you backup your drivers. It shows all the drivers that are installed on your system. You can filter out drivers that you do not want to back up. The great part is that you can instruct DriverBackup to create an executable file of the backed up drivers. So, in case you need to restore those drivers, you don’t even need to have DriverBackup on your system, and can just use that executable.
Restore Drivers: This mode lets you restore your drivers. This mode is relevant only if you chose to back up your system drivers on some local drive or media. This is useful if some of your driver has been corrupted for some reason. You can choose the drivers that you want to restore.
Remove Drivers: This mode lets you remove some of your system drivers that you do not want.
DriverBackup is a very easy to use software, and has a lot of practical utility. And it is totally Free.
