Round-robin selections and eliminations, for those who aren’t sure what these are, it’s what you see when players or teams are drawn for tournaments. The thing that will probably paint the best picture about what Tournament does is when we mention those quarter-final, semi-final and final trees for players during tennis tournaments. Here’s a few tips on how you can do exactly that with Tournament.
How to setup round-robin tournaments and eliminations with Tournament
Select the Players tab, you can’t have a tournament without players. Click on the plus button to add players to the list. Contact information like email, phone or address can also be entered.
After you’re finished adding players of teams, they don’t have to be players, after you finish adding them to the list, switch over to the tournament tab and there again click on Add.
You’ll have to setup time when the tournament will take place, select participants from the player list that you’ve entered before, and after all that’s done, the newly created tournament will open up in a new tab.
What you see on the image above are eliminations. If you don’t enter the correct number of players, some of the participants will be automatically moved up to the next round. Right clicking on each of the matches will allow you to edit them to your liking, enter results and so on. To better management of results click on the Results tab.
