Working on this Windows 8 entertainment app is straight simple. The app makes you do very minimal work and does everything by itself. All you have to do is give the specifications by selecting the favorite photo or typing desired text, and then selecting animation, background music, and frame. Once you are done with that, the app does everything. There are really cool animations in the app. They can really enhance a normal looking photo into something really cool. These are categorized by their type for example: Brightness, celebration, color, shape, party, spin, glass, lights etc. These all are basically the ways through which you can filter and quickly find the desired animation.
You can also pin your favorite animation to Windows 8 Start Screen or add them to favorites, for quick access. This Windows 8 entertainment app has a good-clean UI, with both large as well as medium size tiles. Simply click on any animation to start creating the desired combination of your photo and the animation. Clicking on an animation, directs you to next screen, where you can view the preview of the animation, and add a photo or text to the animation. There are buttons for each of these. These buttons are simple to use and are self-explanatory. You can either merge the photo with the animation or add it to the center. Once you do that, you can also add frame and background music to the animation.
All you have to do is click on Merge photo or Center photo, and then select the desired photo, music, and frame. Once you select a photo, you’ll get a screen, where you can adjust the position and size of photo according to the animation. You can use the zoom in-out and rotate buttons to do so. And to move the photo, just click and drag. All these buttons and option affects the photo, not the animation. Once you have the desired adjustments, click on Adjust button.
A good thing about this combination creation screen is, you can switch other animations from the same screen itself, without going back to the main screen. Simply press the left and right arrow keys for this. Once you are satisfied with everything, simply click on Go! button, and the app does the rest!

PixAnimator, surely is a good Windows 8 entertainment app. The app is functional, and even the free audio sounds really good. It’s the animations that make the app a really good Windows 8 app. But, you should have a good internet speed to use the app, because it requires internet to work. Also the Share Charm didn’t work in my case. Still it’s quite good, and the creations that you can make using the app are unique and cool.
