JotForm Apps is a new platform launched by the website which lets you build interactive internal or external apps for your forms. You can now build cross platform apps that can gather data about almost anything. The no code app builder of JotForm lets you create and host apps from templates or from scratch. The app that you create here is primarily meant to run in browsers but you can set it on your phone’s home screen as a shortcut for faster access. Common templates such as booking system, feedback form, wait list form, ordering system, it cetera can be made easily using JotForm apps builder.
JotForm is a very popular form builder that is used for personal as well as professional projects. The only thing that was missing till now was and interface which you can now build with the help of God for maps. You can make internal apps with this and hosting them on JotForm platform which will collect data directly in the forms for various purposes. Hand in this post I will show you how to use it.
JotForm apps are available to all these JotForm plans even the free one. However, since free plan can only have 5 forms; you will be only able to create 5 apps. To increase this limit, you will eventually have to switch to the premium plans. Also free apps can only receive 100 responses as mentioned in the free plan of JotForm.
How to Create No Code Mobile Friendly Apps for your Forms using Jotform
If you have a JotForm account already, then you can start right away. Just sign into your account and go to the JotForm apps from here. The interface looks like as shown in the screenshot below.
Create your first app now. You can either start from the scratch or you can select a ready made template. For now it has around 200 most common type of templates as apps that you can use. Just select anyone and then it will take you to the builder.
Here you can make some edits in the template if you want to. All the blocks that you can edit or add are in the left sidebar. Expand them and you will find tools like document uploader, image uploader, widgets, data grid, and blocks.
Now click on the preview button to see how your app looks.
After everything is finished, you can publish your app. As soon as you publish your app it will create a new form in your account that will store the data app will collect. Also it will give you a unique URL to your app that you can share with anyone you want.
The app that you have just created using JotForm is mobile friendly and you can open it any browser on your Android and iOS phone. You can even make a shortcut to the app on your home page which will make it look like a native mobile app.
In this way you can use JotForm apps platform to create and publish some really useful apps for daily work. You can create and publish apps like attendance tracker, feedback collector, registration forms, inquiry app, and many more. We just have to keep the limit of free plan in mind because it only lets you have 5 forms in your account.
