Icons8 for Figma is a Figma plugin that allows you to access the whole Icons8 library right inside the Figma editor. Figma is a web-based UI/UX design application that packs powerful features and yet free to use. Being a web-based editor makes Figma easily accessible anywhere on any device. One thing I find missing in Figma is the lack of file storage. While designing an interface, you have to deal with various elements, icons, objects, media files, etc. But, this is not that big of an issue thanks to Figma plugins. There are various Figma plugins that allow you to import/export files from cloud services, smartphones. etc. Now, Icons8 also board that train.
As you may already know, Icons8 is one of the biggest collections of icons that come in every shape, size, and format. And, with this Figma plugin, you can now access the entire Icons8 within Figma without leaving the editor. You can search for icons or browse by categories, size, format, and design type. The icon licensing works the same as the website; free users can use the PNG icons with attribution and paid subscribers can use PNG and SVG icons without attribution.

When you click the Icons8 plugin, it opens in a popup on your screen within the editor. The popup is draggable, you can place it anywhere on your editor. It gives you a search bar at the top where you can type a keyword to find similar icons. Next to the search bar, there is a hamburger menu where you get options to sign to your Icons8 account and browse icons by category.
Below the search bar, you get 3 drop-down style options. The first options give you a large list of design styles. You can pick a style and browse/sort the relevant icons. The next two options are top pick the icon size and format. Just like the Icons8 website, the free plan limits to 90×90 size with the PNG format option only. When you finally find the icon that you want to use, you can simply drag and drop it to the editor. The icons are static images so you can not change any aspect apart from resizing.
