You can compare two different folders available on PC and can synchronize them to copy files from source folder to destination folder, destination to local folder, or bi-directional. Use PathSync To Compare Two Directories and Sync Them:
On its interface, provide directories path (local file and remote file) that you want to compare to get the difference list. After this, select any synchronization action, like visible in screenshot below. Bi-directional sync action is the default action that allows to keep same files in both directories. Moreover, before analyzing directories, you can also ignore file sizes, files dates, missing local and remote files to customize the analysis process.
Adjust settings and tap on Analyze button to get the results.
From the analyzed list, you can take action for each individual file. That means, you can either send file from source to destination (local to remote) folder, remote to local folder, or can take no action for each individual file.
Select action for each file or keep default actions and synchronize directories.
Conclusion:
PathSync is a nice directory synchronization tool and best part is that sync settings can be saved for later use. It is handy to use to keep folders in PC and in your flash drive updated.
