Surf2gether is a free website that lets you watch Youtube videos with friends. You and your friends can watch same Youtube videos together using this free website Surf2gether.
It is extremely easy to use Surf2gether. It does not requires any login or registration. You just need to create your own private WebRoom by providing a room name. Once you do that, you will get a unique URL of your room. You can share this URL with your friends with whom you want to watch Youtube videos together.
When you create your URL, you are taken to your WebRoom. It starts by showing you the apps that you can use with your friends. At time of writing of this article, only YouTube and Grooveshark are available as apps, but there is a message that more apps are coming soon.
To see Youtube videos, just click on the Youtube icon. Here you can search for Youtube videos that you want to watch, and then everyone in that web room will see same Youtube videos completley synced in time.
Surf2gether also shows a chat windows on the left side that you can use to have group chat with your friends in the room.
Other options to stay connected with your friends include: Rounds, RockMelt browser, and Flock browser.
I really like the way Surf2gether has been designed, especially the fact that it is planning to add more apps, and no registration is required. Some of the things that I believe can be improved are: option to change size of Youtube video display, and option for group audio chat.
Overall, I find Surf2gether a really good option to watch Youtube videos together with your friends, and have some fun. This is well designed, and easy to use. Try Surf2gether free.
