Docady is a free document organizer app for iPhone that comes with a unique Smart Scan feature. You can connect different services like Dropbox, OneDrive, Yahoo, Outlook, Gmail, Google Drive, and Evernote to access and organize all your confidential documents in one single secure location. It also comes with a powerful search engine that automatically finds documents across all your connected services. Unlike other complex services such as Doo, Daminion, or Simple Doc Organizer, “Docady” offers an intuitive and sleek interface to help you organize documents right on your iPhone.
You can also add documents like driver’s license, credit card, etc. and sort them by family member, document types, and categories. It lets you easily manage all your family’s documents by setting up a family tree. But the best part of this app and my favorite is the Smart Scan feature. This feature lets you capture a photo of your documents or automatically scans the photo for the important sections and stores it. It also alerts you about expiration date of documents such as driver’s license, credit card, etc.

How to Organize Documents From Different Services in One Secure Location:
Step 1: To use this app, you have to sign up with your email or use Facebook credentials to log in. After login, it will ask you to create a 4 digit PIN which can be used to access the app.
Step 2: After that, it will ask you to connect your accounts for different services like Dropbox, Google Drive, etc. As soon as you connect any service, all the documents will be accessible making it easier for you to organize them.
Step 3: The next step is to set up a family tree. Be on top of the tree in order to manage all your family’s docs. You can add family members to the tree such as parents, spouse, and children. While adding a family member, you can enter their name, email address, phone number, birth date, gender, and relationship with you.
Step 4: After creating a family tree, it will ask you to add documents like driver’s license, credit card, passport, and SSN card. You can either take a photo of your document, scan document using Smart Scan, upload from camera roll, or import from cloud services.
Step 5: After that, you can access, manage, and organize those documents by assigning them to different categories such as personal, financial, medical, home, business, taxes, assets, and much more.
My Final Verdict:
Honestly, I think “Docady’ is one of the best document organizer apps for iPhone. At first, I was simply testing it, but now after seeing all the features I am definitely going to keep it for long. You can also give it a try, as you can easily connect different services to access and organize documents in one secure location. The Smart Scan feature is amazing as you can either capture a photo or auto-scan your document easily with it.
