Google Meet does not have a facility by which it can automatically select the Google Account which has permission to join the call. As a result of this, users having multiple Google accounts need to manually choose and sign in using the specified Google account which has been invited to the Google Meet.
In this article we will be explaining how you can automatically select a Google account that has permission to join a Google Meet using a Chrome Extension called ‘Join Now’
Working:
1. Click on this link to install the extension ‘Join Now’ from the Chrome Web Store.
2. Paste the Google Meet link (URL) in the address bar and press ‘Enter’.
3. ‘Join Now’ will automatically choose the account that has the requisite permission to join the Meet and you will be navigated to ‘Ready to join?’ screen of Google Meet. You must ensure that the Google account which has been invited to the Meet has already signed in.
4. All that you are required to do now is click on the ‘Join Now’ button to enter the Meet.
