How to Chat Anonymously With People You Already Know on iPhone:
Step 1: As soon as you install the app, it will ask you to feed and verify your mobile number. Remember, your name and contact info will be anonymous until you decide to reveal ’em.
Step 2: You can only chat anonymously with people who are in your contact list and if they are also using BLINDSPOT. It also has an option to invite others. Simply go to the settings and type the contact number of the person whom you want to invite. The person will get an SMS saying that someone has invited you to use BLINDSPOT app.
Step 2: All your chats will be visible on the main screen with the contact name (when you send an anonymous message). If someone else sends you a message anonymously, then the contact name will show up as Anonymous.
Step 3: As we have already discussed, you can send anonymous text messages along with photos, videos, and audio notes. While messaging with someone, tap the “Upload” icon to attach photos/videos, record voice notes, or capture photos/videos using the built-in camera. You will also see another option for revealing your identity.
Step 4: If someone is bothering you while messaging, then simply tap on the profile name’s area to block that particular person. Or you can slide any chat to the left in order to delete or block.
Step 5: It is quite an interesting app to have fun while messaging with others anonymously. No one will ever know your identity, making it easier for you to express anything you want to.
My Final Verdict:
Personally, I think is a perfect alternative to Omegle but without video chat option. Share text messages, photos, videos, and voice notes anonymously with people whom you already know. The user with whom you want to chat anonymously must be a BLINDSPOT user, or you can invite him for using this app.
