Long Calc is a free Windows 10 calculator app which can be used to do long math calculations and the calculator will display each step to you in a proper format. The app has a nice display interface which will display each step of your calculation, so you don’t forget what all has been done so far. The app is simple and can be used to check steps of a math problem easily.
The Windows 10 calculator app can be downloaded from the Windows 10 store or from the link given at the end of this article. When you start this app you will come across an interface as seen in the below screenshot.
The calculator can be seen in the screenshot above, with a blank interface right now. When you start doing calculations and punching in numbers first of all they will appear in the grey bar above the number. Once you hit the equal to button the entire calculation will start showing in the upper part of the interface. This can be seen in the screenshot below.
The long calculations are shown in the blank checkered area on top of the app. This is an easy way to check the steps involved in a math problem. The three horizontal bar icon on the top right corner will take you to the settings window, as shown in the screenshot below.
From the settings screen you can change the division notation. There are three options in the division notation, you can choose any. The three division notations can be seen in the screenshot below.
Once you have chosen a division notation, you can change how many results you want to be displayed on the interface ranging from 1 to 20. The last option you can change in the settings is the themes. You can change the theme of the app from the few given in the settings option.
