Sticky Notes 8 is a free app for Windows 8 that allows you to get sticky notes on Windows 8 as the app’s name suggests. This sticky notes app for Windows 8 offers you with a clean and elegant interface so that the user’s experience is enhanced. The app offers the ability to display sticky notes of various color and sizes in a simple to use interface. Also you can add images onto the app window and write notes on them.
The individual sticky notes can be resized and moved around in the app window. Also this app has are the ability to pin notes to the start screen, share the notes using the Windows 8 share options, and you can even export and import the whole information that is stored with the app.
Sticky Notes 8 is available for free in the Windows Store and is located under the ‘tools’ section of the store. To get this free sticky notes app for Windows 8 just click on the link provided at the end of the post. The link will re-direct you to the Windows Store from where you download and install Sticky Notes for free. After installation just run it and you will have the interface in front of you as shown above.
To add a note just click on the add button located on the lower right part of the app window. Clicking on the add button will open up the options as shown below. Now just select the color and if you would like to add a picture sticky then just click option which looks like the gallery. The options of colors provided are limited to 4 and if you click on the picture option then a window will come up that will enable you to select the image of your choice and display it as a sticky note.
After you have created the sticky note just write on it also you can move it freely with your mouse or resize it according to your needs. If you would like to delete a sticky note then simply click on the cross button located on the right part of the sticky. To see more options just click on the icon on the upper left corner to sticky; this action will relieve other options as seen below. These options include the ability to resize, lock/unlock, pin to start menu, and share the notes.
Also this app provides you with the ability to export and import all the data stored inside the app. You can access these features by using the buttons provided in the option menu as seen below in the screenshot.
