Here is a free service to get email alert when a Twitter handle is available. It’s a pretty helpful service for those who need a specific Twitter handle/username, which is already taken, but want to get alert as soon as that particular handle is available. You need to specify or add the Twitter handle(s) and then this service will regularly check for those Twitter handles. When a handle is available, it sends you alert to the email address specified by you. After that, you can login to your Twitter account or create a new Twitter account with that particular Twitter handle.
To receive email alert when a Twitter handle is available, I have covered a free service here, known as “Handlescout“. Do note this service doesn’t send email alert instantly. It will take one to two hours or more to send the alert. I will say it is still better to use this than checking for some Twitter handle manually.

How To Get Email Alert When A Twitter Handle Is Available?
Step 1: Use the link that is placed at the end of this review to open the homepage of this service.
Step 2: Enter your email address where you want to receive email alert for Twitter handle. After that, it will send an email to that particular email address using which you can sign in to this service.
Step 3: Now access “Handles” section on its interface and use Add handles button. After that, you can add Twitter handle or username for which you want to receive the email alert.
You can add as many Twitter handles for alerts as you want.
This service interface will also show if some Twitter handle is available.
Or else, you can simply close its interface. When some Twitter username is available, you will receive the email alert. You can open that email where it will show that the specified Twitter handle is available and you can claim it before someone else does.
The Conclusion:
It would have been better had this service come with a feature to set frequency to automatically check for Twitter handle based on that frequency. I don’t know how frequently and regularly it works to check Twitter handle. But, one thing is pretty clear that it sends email alert for sure when a Twitter handle is available. So, the service is good for that purpose.
