PhotoWeaver is a photo app for Windows 8 which brings together all the pictures which you have across a variety of sources like: Google+, Facebook, SkyDrive and in your local drive. It is a completely free app for windows 8. Using this app, you can easily upload, download any pictures and could edit them with the help of advanced edit options provided by PhotoWeaver. It is a wonderful app which offers you to see your photos just by sliding them and you could also comment on them.
The interface of this app is designed in such a way that it looks simple and user friendly. You can access this app from Windows 8 App store or you could follow the link provided at the end of this article.
How to use and have fun with this app
Once you have installed this app in your Windows 8 machine, a window will pop-up like the below shown screenshot.
You can see in the above screenshot that there are four categories which are Facebook, Google+, SkyDrive and Local. These are the places from where this app can pick up any picture. You will see another category when you slide this home page of the app to the right. This is named Special. Here you could add any photo from social network or from local drives to mark it as your favourite album.
How to edit photo using this app:
Just click on any photo which you want to edit like I have chosen a picture below:
As soon as you open a picture here in PhotoWeaver, the pic will be open with several options shown on the bottom of the page. If you see in the above screenshot at the left side bottom there is an option of Likes & comments. Also, there are several other tools like special effects, cropping etc. Once you are done with the changes you can just click on the upload or save button according to your desire. The Play option plays a slideshow of the pictures present in a folder. You can even edit the speed of the photo slideshow. Below is an example screenshot of a photo with effects added to it.
The special effects are powered by Aviary. Therefore you will find a lot of options to make your photos smart and bright. There is also an option of writing down text on the photo. You have to go through each of the different edit options present in the app to completely understand it. Once you are done, click on Done and upload it on your social network using the upload option in the previous screenshot.
