How To Use This Windows Icon Creator:
Simplyicon is very easy to use. SimplyIcon creates icon in sizes 32*32, 24*24, and 16*16. If the image is big enough, it also creates icons in size 128*128.
Steps to create icon files:
- Open the Simplyicon application, then you can see a simple interface as shown in above screenshot.
- Drag the picture which you want to be converted to icon format.
- Drop it in the interface as shown in below screenshot.
- Then automatically an icon is created in the same directory; from where you dragged the picture.
- Later use that icon file for making it an icon instead of routine icons.
Steps to convert your converted pic to icon for others:
- Right click on the folders or shortcuts, whose icons you want to be converted to your favorite icon.
- Select the Properties option.
- In properties window, select customize tab.
- In customize tab, you can see an option called Change Icon option.
- Click on Change Icon option, there you can see various icons.
- Select the Browse option.
- Now browse for the icon file which you have converted before (shown in below screenshot).
- Select that and press Ok.
- Come out of the properties tab and refresh.
- You can see that the routine icon has changed to your favorite icon.
- You can use the same icon or make different icons with different pictures.
