Frienductor is a free iPhone event management app which lets you to create, manage, and share events with your friends. You can make as many events you want by adding event name, time of event, location, and name of friends to invite to the event.
The app sends invitations to the friends who are included by you while creating the event. You can chat in real time with the friends, who are coming to the event. The app lets you edit any event at anytime and you can also check your friend’s feed to check what are they planning or doing.
This app is available for both iPhone and Android, but I have tested iPhone version only.
Drawback Of This Event Management App:
- My Facebook friends, who don’t have Frienductor, didn’t receive any notifications for the event created by me during the testing which means it becomes necessary for all my friends to have Frienductor installed on their device.
- Sharing functions for Facebook and Twitter didn’t work for me.
Using This iPhone Event Management App:
You can download the Frienductor app either by searching on the iTunes App Store or by clicking on the link given at the end of this review. The app has a very eye-pleasing interface and nicely placed options which are very easy to understand. You need to link your Facebook account with the app to use it.
The app has 3 options: Notifications, Events Calendar, and Friend’s Feed. All these options can be accessed by swiping on the screen towards left and right side.
The app’s home screen is set to Events Calendar by default. You can check the list of all your events from here. If you have no events lined up, then it will be blank. If you have a blank screen, then don’t worry, you can create your own events for you and your friends.
To create your own events, either tap on the Arrow icon or pull it downwards. It will open the event creator window. Now, here you have to fill the details related to the event you are creating. The app asks you to fill the event name, time of event, location, and name of friends to invite to the event before creating it. After filling these details, tap on Create and you are done. Once the event is created, all your invited friends will get a notification for attending the event.
Now, you can check the event from your Events Calendar window. You will also get notification whenever any of your friends respond to the invitation sent to them so that you can check how many friends are coming. To check the Notifications, swipe towards left side from your Events Calendar window. The Notifications window will open like a sidebar.
Chatting With Friends In This iPhone Event Management App:
The app also lets you to do real time chat with your friends who are attending the same event as you. To start chatting, tap on the event for which you want to chat. The event will open in a new window. Here, you will see a tab labeled as Chat on the right side of the window. Tap on it and select the friend to chat with.
This option is very beneficial considering the fact that sometimes someone might not be able to come. In these scenarios, you can send and receive updates about the event instantly via Chat.
