start.me is a handy service that helps to create own start page for any of your favorite browser. You can set your own homepage where you can add RSS feeds of your favorite websites, weather report of any city, notes, check new mails, embed webpage, and more. Whenever you open your web browser, you will find all your important stuff. Any item can be opened in a single-click within the same tab or in new tab.
In your own customized homepage, you can add multiple pages as well. It will be helpful to categorize things. You can add work related items in one page, and can add personal stuff in another page, etc. All added pages can be edited or deleted as well.

How To Create Own Start Page With This Free Service?
To use this service, go to its homepage. Its homepage link is given at the end of this review. On its homepage, you need to click on Get Started button. After this, you have to create a free account. This is used to keep your homepage with you and access it from anywhere on any PC. You can either sign up with your email address or can use your social account.
Once you are done with sign up process, a preset homepage with widgets will be visible to you. You will be also prompted to set start.me as your homepage or you can add it manually as well.
Each widget is available for a specific purpose. For example, search widget will contain search engines (Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc.) to perform search query. A huge list of widgets is available to choose from, such as: bookmarks, RSS, search, weather, world clock, stock quotes, Notes, currency converter, Movies widget (to get movie update using Flixster), etc. Click on ‘+‘ button to access widgets.
You can use all widgets and can add more items with each widget. For example, if you want to add a new bookmark in social widget, say Twitter, simply click on the drop-down icon, and use Add Bookmark option. After this, you will be able to enter the URL of new bookmark to add to it. Any bookmark can be edited or deleted whenever required.
Create New Page For Your Homepage:
If you want to create a completely fresh page, then it is also possible. Use ‘+’ button and click on New Page option. Now you can enter the name of your new page and can add it on your homepage. After this, you can add widgets to your new page. Interesting thing while creating a page is that you can add background image as well. A lot of themes are available to choose from.
Add widgets according to your requirement. When your homepage will be ready, you can access it whenever browser will be started by you.
Other Features:
- You can export/import y0ur start.me bookmarks and RSS feeds as HTML file.
- A webpage can be embedded to your homepage. This is useful to add own favorite website and browse directly from homepage. You can also customize height of website frame. Use ‘Embed webpage‘ widget to add any webpage address.
- Any particular page can be shared with others as well. By default, all pages remains private, but you make pages public. Use the icon available at top left corner of your homepage to share your page. You can share the link to Twitter, Facebook, and Google+, or can manually give URL to your friend.
