Here’s a list of 4 t-shirt creator software for Windows 10 which you can use to create t-shirts. Customized t-shirts are all the rage nowadays. A lot of YouTube channels have been selling custom t-shirts as part of their funding. Making a custom t-shirt of your own is really easy using the applications from down below. Custom shirts of your own will help you stand out more and of course get your message out there. Let’s have a look at what exactly is available.
Free TSHIRT Maker for Windows 10
Free TSHIRT Maker is a dedicated t-shirt creator software for Windows 10 that’s very easy to use and comes with a collection of stickers and clipart that you can use when creating t-shirts. Unlike some of the other applications that I mentioned, Free TSHIRT Maker is specifically made for creating t-shirts.
Color of the t-shirt can be changed using the color selector on the left. After that, everything you need for making the t-shirt design on your own can be found in the sidebar on the right-hand side. Up top you can find the collection of built-in clipart objects. If you don’t want to use them, you can import images of your own. “Text” section is there for adding text with custom colors, fonts and effects like fake 3D and outlining. All the way at the bottom you can see that layers can be managed, like you do in more advanced graphics tools. Finished designs can be exported as actual t-shirts (like you see in the editor) or alternatively only the design that you made (for printing).

Desktop T-Shirt Creator Software for Windows 10
Desktop T-Shirt Creator is a Windows 10 t-shirt creator software that’s made using Adobe Air, and you will need the latest version of Air in order for the application to work properly. Also worth noting is the fact that this software is tied closely to its website, Sonic Shack, for selling custom print t-shirts, which doesn’t work anymore, but the software worked OK for me.
Sidebar on the left has a selection of templates for not just t-shirts but also vests and long sleeved shirts. Built-in gallery of stickers and clipart makes it easy to add additional effects to the t-shirts that you’re designing. Custom image can be added to t-shirts. Text is added under the “Add Text” tab. Both front and back sides of shirts can be customized, which is a plus. “To cart” button, next to “Save” is there for ordering the design from the defunct website, but it doesn’t work. I suggest that you print the designs to paper using the “Print” button in the top right corner, seeing how that option for exporting the design works OK.

Graphic Design Shop
With Graphic Design Shop we’ve reached the part of the list where applications that technically speaking are not t-shirt creator software start. As you can see from its name, this is more of a general graphics manipulation tool, something like GIMP. There is a reason though why I included Graphic Design Shop on this list, its got a database of templates and clipart which can be useful for creating custom t-shirts.
Interface is simplistic, with layout similar to other similar image manipulations tools. Both left and right-hand sidebars have toolboxes which can be “minimized” while in the middle is the drawing area. Toolbars can also be found up top. Available tools include things like pen tools, brush tool, text boxes, shapes and the aforementioned clipart library. After running the application for the first time you’ll be asked to select either a blank canvas, templates for web graphics, posters, logos, icons, t-shirts, etc., or you can open existing projects/images and work on them. Finished designs can be exported using the usual formats, JPEG, PNG, BMP or they can be printed.

Paint.NET
With Paint.NET you’re probably familiar, and I included it on this list even though it doesn’t at all specialize in t-shirt design because it’s so powerful (yet lightweight) that it can be used for t-shirt design if you want to use it that way.
Paint.NET has lots of similarities with bigger players like Photoshop and GIMP when it comes to interface layout and design. Now for t-shirt design, you will need to download a plain white t-shirt template image and any stickers/clipart that you’d like to use. That’s what I did on the image above. Toolbox has the usual selection of tools, shapes, text box, pen tool, brush, etc. On top of that you also get various effects, image adjustments, layers, and so on. More than enough for decent t-shirt design.

Conclusion
Not all of the 4 t-shirt creator software from the list above are for t-shirt design per se, like Free TSHIRT Maker, but they can all be used as that. It just depends what you’re after and what your skill set is. Definitely go for Free TSHIRT Maker if you are not experienced with graphics tools, but would still like to make a custom t-shirt design of your own. Graphic Design Shop and Paint.NET on the other hand should be used by those looking for more advanced features. Let me know what you think by leaving a comment down below.
