How to Create Custom Soundboards using this free Soundboard App for Android:
When you install the “Boardim” app on your Android phone, simply sign up to the app using your email id or Google credentials. As soon as you do that, you will see a “+” button on the main screen which you need to tap to proceed.
After that, a new screen will appear where you will be able to enter the soundboard name, choose a background image, add a board description, and make the board private or keep public. If you make the board private, then it will not be visible to other users unless you share it manually.
When you’re done with all that, you can proceed to add audio to the soundboard. For this, tap on the “+” button and then two different options will appear named, “From Sound File” and “Record” You can use these options to either import existing audio files from your phone or record new audio respectively.
After you select or record an audio, it will allow you trim the playback length before adding it to the soundboard. For this, all you gotta do is drag the start and end marker on the trimmer and choose the audio length which you want to trim. You can also change the color tone of that particular audio on the soundboard.
In the same manner, you can add as many audio files as you want to the soundboard. You will be able to access your soundboards from the “My Boards” tab on the main screen. When you open a soundboard, you will be able to preview the audio files, edit the board, and share it via Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Snapchat, and more.
Another feature of this app is that you can discover public soundboards. To do this, you can simply go to the “Featured” tab and there you can either scroll and find soundboards or use the search bar. You can open the public soundboards, play the associated audio, add to your favorite, and also share with others. This app is pretty new, so the number of public soundboards is quite limited.
