Stage is a free IOS app to create Instagram stories. It lets you create beautiful collages. Which you can post as an Instagram story directly.
Creating attractive stories for Instagram can be a little hard sometimes. Especially when you’re creating a collage. You have to take care of the size of posts to meet the dimensions of the IG story. And for that, you have to tailor all the images of the template, which is no less than a headache. But this task becomes easier with Stage. This app helps you create awesome collages. And it has premade story templates, so you just need to select pictures from your phone. Templates of many styles and patterns are available on the app. And you can share the created post directly on your Instagram.
How to use Stage
To use the app, you will need to have it on your phone first. So let’s go through the process in a few simple steps:
Step-1: Install the app on your iPhone
The very first step is to switch on your iPhone and install Stage. You can do it by using the given link. Or you can hit the Apple App Store, search Stage: IG story templates, and install it. And after installation, the app is ready to use. It doesn’t need any sign-up or log-in.
Step-2: Open the app and select a pattern
When you open the app, you will see many patterns available for you. You can see it in the screenshot below:
The available template styles are as follows:
- Grid
- Pasta
- Beans
- Pumpkin
And for each pattern, three different styles are available. Thus, you ultimately have twelve fascinating collage templates. Select the one which you like the most.
Step-3: Add images to the template
When you select and tap on a template, it will open the design window for you. And here you can add images to the template. There are many other features on the design window. They are as follows:
- Add images: Add images to the templates. The app will ask you to select all the photos at once. You can’t select one photo at a time. The first button at the bottom of the design screen does that.
- Relocate images: You can change the places of the images in the template. And its icon is the second one at the bottom of the design screen.
- Clear images: This feature lets you clear the images from the template. And you can add new images. It is the third icon at the bottom of the design screen.
- Upload or save: Save the created story using the last button at the bottom of the designer screen. Or, you can also upload it on Instagram directly from here.

So, pick any template from the app and select the images you want to add. Design the post according to your wish, and then upload it directly on Instagram. Or you can also save the story on your phone if you don’t want to post them right away.

Stage is a nice tool to design Instagram stories. It’s very simple and easy to use. But there are only limited templates available on the app. A few more templates of different styles and patterns can be really useful. Due to fewer templates, its uses are limited.
