- Now, you have the choice to either login through your social networking website or create your own account on Prismatic. The choice is yours.
As you can see in the above snapshot, clicking on the respective icon would prompt you for the credentials of your corresponding account i.e. Facebook, Google or Twitter. The last icon (which we have marked with an arrow) is for those who wish to create a Prismatic account.
Suppose you choose to login through your social networking account, Prismatic would seek permission for certain activities. You would simply have to make a few mouse clicks to get the process completed. On the other hand, if you wish to create your own account, then you will have to create your username and password as well as provide your email.

When you login to Prismatic, you have lots of categories to choose from as your interests. We have captured a few suggestions in the snapshot below so that you can have an idea of the different categories available with Prismatic.
There are even more categories which couldn’t be covered in the picture above. You can add the category you are interested in and thus create your newsfeed on such categories. Suppose, we clicked on the category ‘election 2012’ under the ‘Suggestions’ on the right. A webpage was displayed with all the updates and news on election 2012.
Hence as you can see, you can have all the necessary updates from every nook and corner on whichever category you choose!

Sharing any interesting newsfeed with your friends is simple and just a matter of few clicks with Prismatic. Suppose, you are logged in through your social networking account and come across something which you would love to share, it’s simple. Let’s see how!
Whenever you open a newsfeed, you will have 3 small icons on the right. The first denotes ‘I don’t like this story’ or rather a dislike option, the second is to add it in your favorites while the third which is denoted by an arrow denotes ‘share’. On clicking it, you can either post it, tweet it or share it on your Facebook account.
