@Aaron: This is a really interesting find 😃 Use it for sometime, and let me know how it goes. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks again for the reply! Shortly after I asked that I actually found something that fits my needs! It's called co.mments. Basically it tracks the new comments on any site that you set it to track. You do need an account, but after that is set up all you do is simply drag the a bookmarklet into your bookmarks bar and when you're on a site you want to track you just click it and it automatically adds it to your profile. Maybe you have heard of it. It's pretty nice.

@Aaron: I am not aware of any such commenting utility. There are multiple comment software that websites use, like IntenseDebate, Disqus etc. So, if you have a profile with each of these, then you can track comments posted on all the websites that use these software. Still, there isnt any global solution.

Yeah no problem! Glad to have helped. The social networking integration of Digsby has gotten a lot better and I have really liked where it has gone! I actually am thinking of posting about all it's new features on my blog sometime in the future as well. I really like your website here. It doesn't seem too popular yet, but it's got great content!

By the way just out of curiosity (and this is off topic) how do you track all your comments? I am looking for something that can track comments on all blogs that I comment on no matter if it's mine. CNET or on this one. Is there something like that?

@Aaron: You are absolutely right that my previous comment was for Pidgin and not Digsby 😃 And you are right about Digsby that I had used it some time back, and not recently.

I checked the Digsby website again for features, and let me say that it should have come in this list, and probably right after Trillian Astra. I will update this article and add Digsby also to it.

Thanks for pointing that out 😃
